Snow Tubing
Enthusiasts of all ages will enjoy the thrill of Copper's snow tubing hill. Serviced by The Stinger surface lift, riders cruise down snow-filled lanes with varying degrees of pitch.
Copper Mountain Athletic Club
The Copper Mountain Athletic Club is a multi-service athletic club with tons of ways to make you feel your best. But, as far as the kids are concerned, it's just a really great swimming pool. The 25-yard, four-lane pool always has at least two lanes open for family and recreational swimming. Adjacent to the pool is a large co-ed spa (male and female only spas, steam rooms and saunas are located in each locker room). And the club features weight room, cardiovascular centre, massage, facials and racquetball.
Scenic Sleigh Ride
What could be more enjoyable for the whole family or that special someone than gliding through the snow on a horse drawn sleigh? Let the snow covered woods and the beautiful star light spark your imagination. This is truly a memorable experience.
Snowshoeing
Copper offers free snowshoeing tours daily. Tours will leave Burning Stones Plaza daily at 10 a.m. and will be led by two Copper Ambassadors. Snowshoes and hiking poles will be provided free of charge to all participants. Tours are limited to 18 guests and are offered to adults 16 years and older. In addition, moonlight snowshoe tours will be offered twice a month during Jan, Feb. and March.
Snowmobiling
Explore Copper's snow filled valleys on a 150-horse open sleigh. An experienced backcountry guide will take you to secret stashes of powder and show you spectacular views, so bring your camera. This is one adventure you'll want to remember always
Broomball
Broomball is an ice sport that originated in Canada. It is played with the players using brooms and a ball and players wear shoes or boots instead of ice skates!
A section of the ice can be reserved for broomball Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 6:30-8:30pm.
Curling at West Lake
Curling is a winter sport that originated in Scotland,and is very popular in Canada today. You roll heavy stones across the ice aiming at a target to score you points! You don’t need ice skates – the game is played in shoes or boots!
Ice Skating at West Lake
West Lake is open for ice skating daily from 10:00am-9:00pm. Skate rentals are available at Chub's located on West Lake - $8.00 per session.
Alpine Snowmobiles & Dogsledding
Dog sledding is fast becoming one of the most popular outdoor winter sports! Whether you take an exciting dogsled ride, attend a mushing class, or tour the mountain trails above 10,000 feet on one of our Polaris snowmobiles, you will leave with memories that will last a lifetime!
