Accommodation

There is a selection of accommodation in Furano, located in  2 separate areas. The Furano zone is the location of the luxurious New Furano Prince Hotel. The Kitanomine area is where the majority of accommodations, pensiones and lodges are located.

Accommodation Options

Accommodation in Japan is fairly basic compared to Western ski resorts. Rooms are smaller, with the bare minimum of necessities, eg small wardrobes (if any), smaller beds and even smaller bathrooms.

Hotels

Most Hotels have ski in / ski out accommodation and are of excellent standard and in good locations. Many have a huge range of facilities, plus extras like souvenir shops, restaurants and karaoke. There are hotels available to suit every budget.

Lodges

Lodges are a larger version of a pensione, but usually have en suite bathrooms. They usually offer more amenities, like games rooms, large Japanese style ofuro baths and common lounge areas. Lodges are also usually located closer to the lifts.
