Whistler Village
Whistler Village is the culmination of an innovative plan to create a town centre full of vitality and situated in visual harmony with its environment.
Eldon Beck, the man instrumental in the design of resorts all over the world, paced the future site of Whistler Village, climbed trees to get a better look around and even watched how the sun moved across the sky to design a car-free town centre where people could flow like water and always be in sight of a magnificent view.
With two mountains as a backdrop, Whistler Village is a charming and enchanting pedestrian-only alpine village that features everything from intriguing shops to upscale boutiques, high-energy nightclubs to elegant fine dining.
Dining
With more than 90 restaurants to choose from, dining is a huge part of Whistler life. Variety is definitely the spice of life in the resort as sophisticated upscale lounges and bars complement gourmet restaurants where even the most discriminating palate can savour everything from North American fare to the finest international cuisine.
Après
A big part of the Whistler experience is après - and the late night fun at the nightclubs. In fact, Whistler is known for its sizzling clubs, laid-back lounges and friendly pubs. Most establishments are just minutes from the lifts and all of them are contained within the pedestrian-only Village. Everything is within walking distance.
