Daycare & Kids Centre

Ski Canada rates Big White’s kid’s centre as the “Best Resort Feature for Kids in Canada” and the UK’s London Daily Mail rated it one of the top five in the world! Voted “Best Place to be Abandoned by Your Parents” by Ski Canada Magazine, the Tot Town Daycare is ideal for the pre-ski child, or for the child (18months to 5years) who does not wish to ski the whole day. Each day at the Tot Town Daycare Centre is unique, exciting and filled with activities and adventures. Children are kept busy with a mixture of indoor play and (weather permitting) outdoor activities. The Kids Centre comes fully equipped with its very own chef hard at work preparing daily lunch and snacks.

Kids’ Centre On-Mountain Lessons and Groups

At Big White, children are encouraged to reach their full potential in classes that are safe, fun and full of confidence building on-mountain techniques. There are plenty of classes to choose from for kids of all ages and abilities. Plus, all Big White’s staff are fully trained, so there is no better place for kids to improve their skills in skiing and snowboarding.

After Dark

The Kids Centre evening programmes are intended to provide a fun time for children and also allow parents to enjoy a night out. Supervised programming at the Kids Centre includes: Dinner and Tubing at the Mega Snow Coaster; Hot Chocolate and Skating; and, Dinner and Activities Night with board games and movies.
