Ski holidays to North America or Japan consist of 6 Major components

1. Airfares

With so many different airlines offering airfares, it’s hard to know which is the right one for you.

It’s a time consuming business to check all airlines,  compare prices, connections and flight schedules. Many may look cheap, but have hidden costs such as fuel surcharge or taxes that aren’t confirmed until you actually book the flights. You also have to take into consideration the number of stopovers and connections to domestic flights.

Once you think you’ve found the best deal, you have to decide whether to book it before it disappears, or wait until you’ve  checked out domestic flights, transfers and accommodation prices and availability to see if they will all work in with your chosen flights. You often don’t find out about those until you’ve handed over your credit card!

4. Transfers : Don't be left out in the cold.

We recommend you pre-book your transfers to/from ski resorts, to coincide with your flights. There’s nothing worse than arriving somewhere and not knowing how to get to your resort, or having to wait hours for the next shuttle.

6. Insurance

Not all insurances purchased online cover damage to sports equipment, or injury caused by some ski accidents.

It is advisable to take out a good travel insurance as soon as you book your airfares, in case anything happens and, you need to cancel or amend anything prior to your departure.
